Kranevo

A nice little village situated in a sheltered bay, Kranevo is 25 km north of the city of Varna. It lies just beyond the northern end of Golden Sands and at the southern part of a long beach, which extends towards the luxurious resort of Albena to the north. The vast beach, clean sea, gently sloping sea bottom and healing mineral water have propelled the swift growth of the village into a competitive tourist destination.

Kranevo offers excellent opportunities for leisure, family vacation, summer camps and sports.

Every summer at the end of May and at the beginning of June is held a festival called Slavonic wreath. Children from Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and other countries compete in singing, dancing, choreography, stage performances. There are many hotels, holiday complexes, villas, shops and restaurants on the territory of the village.
